The method comprises the following steps: 1, screening bulbs; 2, disinfecting the bulbs; 3, processing a matrix; 4, upward arranging the disinfected bulbs in a transfer basket, and moisturizing the prepared matrix; 5, putting the transfer basket in a greenhouse, and accelerating germinating and growing roots at a controlled temperature for a controlled time; and 6, planting germinated bulbs in land. Compared with the prior art, the germination acceleration and root growth method has the advantages of satisfactory promotion of germination acceleration and root growth of Curcuma alismatifolia bulbs, dormancy breaking after storage in the greenhouse for 25-30d, realization of the germination time being 80d or above shorter than that of unprocessed bulbs, no storage of the bulbs, realization of the early flower generation target, quality improvement, maximal production benefit realization, and easy enforcement and popularization.
