Abstract

Caged ruthenium metal-organic complex crystals and preparation methods thereof relate to metal complex crystals and preparation methods thereof. The two metal-organic complexes in the present invention all use RuCl2(PPh3)3 as metal precursors. Types of organic ligands were prepared, and then the crystals of the two complexes were obtained by further diffusion culture method. The crystal structures of the two novel metal-organic complexes with cage structure were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffractometer. The results show that these two crystals have clear structure and unique coordination mode, which are very potential catalysts and potential anti-tumor drugs. The study of its catalytic effect found that this kind of complex exhibited mild reaction conditions, simple post-treatment, high catalytic activity and high selectivity in the catalytic alcohol oxidation reaction. Two novel caged ruthenium metal organic complexes (RuCl)4(PPh3)4 of the present invention have the application of catalytic oxidation reaction.
