Abstract

The invention provides a high-redundancy FBG sensing module which comprises a sensing fiber, a 1*2 optical switch, two sensing branches and an FBG sensing array composed of FBG sensing units, wherein the sensing fiber is connected with the input end of the 1*2 optical switch, and the output end of the 1*2 optical switch is connected with the FBG sensing array via the two sensing branches. Each FBG sensing unit is composed of a 2*2 coupler and a FBG sensor, the coupler is connected with the FBG sensor via a sensing fiber, one or more fault points exist in the FBG sensing unit, and the 1*2 optical switch is switched to two sensing branches to detect the FBG sensing units via a computer.
