Abstract

The invention provides a positioning method and apparatus based on a laser-shaped measurement sensor. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining measurement data of the laser-shaped measurement sensor; according to the measurement data, fitting a position of a positioning surface of an electric core; calculating a value which a fixation platform needs to move; and transmitting the value to a programmable logic controller of equipment to control the programmable logic controller to reach the positioned position so as to complete a positioning process. An electric core positioning mechanism drives the electric core to reach a position distanced a certain distance away from the laser-shaped measurement sensor on the platform, the position is a scanning position, and a servo motor drives the laser-shaped measurement sensor to move in a direction parallel to the width of the electric core.
