An original cover beam is connected between the first original bridge pier and the second original bridge pier in a stretching mode. The method includes the following steps of building a first transformed bridge pier and a second transformed bridge pier, specifically, the first transformed bridge pier and the second transformed bridge pier are arranged in the spaced mode, and the distance between the first transformed bridge pier and the second transformed bridge pier is larger than that between the first original bridge pier and the second original bridge pier; building a transformed cover beam connected between the first transformed bridge pier and the second transformed bridge pier in a stretching mode, specifically, the transformed cover beam wraps the original cover beam; and detaching the first original bridge pier and the second original bridge pier.
