The method comprises: aiming at an on-line video, determining the initial play time of valid video clip according to the occurrence time and the occurrence number of the video reviews in the playing process of the on-line video; obtaining the valid video clip according to the initial play time and the play time of valid video clip; and displaying the valid video clip in the video clip list of the on-line video.
