The synchronous update method comprises following steps: a master control unit is used for starting a rapid update device mechanism; multiple first intelligent devices are used for searching the master control unit; each first intelligent device is used for transmitting back device information corresponding to the first intelligent device to the master control unit; the master control unit is used for transmitting connection setting information to at least one first intelligent device in order to set up communication between at least first intelligent device and a server; the server is used for storing at least one update program; the master control unit is used for transmitting an update instruction to at least one first intelligent device in order to notify at least one first intelligent device to update programs; and at least one first intelligent device is used for downloading at least one update program through the server based on the update instruction. The synchronous update method of programs for multiple intelligent devices and the update system thereof have following beneficial effects: programs of the multiple intelligent devices can be synchronously and rapidly updated in order to simplify setting programs of the intelligent devices.
