Abstract

A method performed by a user terminal and an associated user terminal for managing applications runnable by the user terminal are disclosed. Generate folder information defining application folders. Action rule information is generated which, for each of the folders, defines the action to be performed on the folder and the rules that initiate execution of the action. Determine the first rule that needs to be satisfied. A first folder associated with the satisfied first rule is selected. Applications that are members of the first folder are identified that are missing from the memory of the user terminal. The identified application is downloaded from the application storage node via the network to the memory of the user terminal. Related methods and network nodes for managing which applications are downloaded to user terminals are also disclosed.
