Abstract

The invention discloses an engine housing arrangement for a machine with noise-reducing elements allowing to reduce the overall noise level of the machine. The engine casing includes a casing having a casing length and a casing width. The housing defines a housing axis extending along the length of the housing, and the housing axis defines a vertical reference plane. The vertical reference plane is perpendicular to the ground surface on which the machine sits. The engine enclosure also includes a radiator fan configured to provide airflow across the radiator. The radiator fan has a diameter greater than the housing width and defines a fan plane perpendicular to the radiator fan's axis of rotation. The radiator fan is positioned between the side walls of the housing such that the fan plane forms a non-perpendicular angle with the vertical reference plane.
