A stable operation of the gas turbine is to be allowed with a particularly high degree of efficiency and a high output at the same time. For this purpose, the target value (Tsoll) for the corrected turbine outlet temperature (TATK) is set using a value (W) which characterizes the combustion stability in the burners, wherein the target value (Tsoll) for the corrected turbine outlet temperature (TATK) is set additionally using the surrounding temperature (TV1).
