Abstract

The invention provides an electric connector, comprising: an insulation body, conductive terminals and a grounding terminal contained in the insulation body, a shielding component covering the insulation body, a front housing body covering the insulation body and the shielding component and a back housing body installed at the back end of the front housing body. The insulation body comprises a docking part arranged at the front end and an installation part located at the back of the docking part as well as a containing cavity that is formed through the backward recession from the front end of the docking part. The front ends of the conductive terminals are exposed in the containing cavity. A pair of shielding components of the same structure covers the peripheries of the front end of the insulation body; the shielding body is in contact with the front housing body; the shielding body comprises a main body and a plurality of elastic sheets extending forwardly from the main body; the elastic sheets penetrate the insulation body and become exposed out of the containing cavity. When the shielding component is connected with a docking connector through an external housing body and the elastic sheets, a well-performed electric loop circuit can be formed. The shielding body, through multiple point guiding and the shielding channel, increases the shielding effect of the electric connector.
