Abstract

The invention discloses a ball screw bending deflection detecting device and method. The device comprises a first chuck and a second chuck connected by bolts and lead screw nuts. Connection holes, through which a ball screw passes, are correspondingly disposed on the center of the first chuck and the center of the second chuck. The first chuck is provided with rectangular clamping grooves. The second chuck is provided with rectangular teeth which are engaged with the rectangular clamping grooves. Four test holes surround the connection hole at equal intervals. Stress test posts for detecting the bending deflection of the ball screw are fixed in the test holes. The deformation of the ball screw is calculated indirectly by the deformation of the four stress test posts mounted on the chuck. The deformation of the stress test posts is measured by a full-bridge strain gauge pasted on the posts. The software system of the detecting device, by processing the deformation data of the strain gauge, may evaluate the bending deflection value of the ball screw in real time.
