Abstract

The invention relates to a split tube-shell type waste heat boiler experiment system and method. The system comprises a steam pocket and a boiler barrel with the horizontally-arranged axis. The steam pocket is located above the boiler barrel. The boiler barrel is communicated with the steam pocket through an ascending pipe and a descending pipe to form a loop. The upper end of the ascending pipe stretches into the steam pocket. The sides of the steam pocket are provided with a water supplementing pipe and an overflowing pipe with a valve respectively. A steam eduction pipe is arranged on the top of the steam pocket, a plurality of columns of pipe holes are uniformly formed in one end of the boiler barrel, and a heating pipe is installed inside each pipe hole; a plurality of columns of pressure measuring holes are uniformly formed inside gaps of pipe bundles of the heating pipes, and a pressure measuring device is installed inside each pressure measuring hole.
