Abstract

The application provides a network address translation method and device. The method is applied to a cloud platform server. The method comprises steps of binding a floating IP address and an external network port to a virtual machine VM within an intranet, wherein when the floating IP address bound with the VM is the same as the other VMs, the external network port bound with the VM is different from the other VMs; according to the intranet IP address and the intranet port of the VM, generating a floating IP binding item for the floating IP address and the external port bound with the VM; and with regard to the access message of the VM, subjecting the access message to network address translation according to the floating IP binding item. The application achieves that the different VMs can bind the same floating IP address and different external ports, so that the sharing of the same floating IP is achieved, and the external IP resource is saved.
