Disclosed in the present invention are a method and a device for synchronization in beam training, the method comprising: a sending device and a receiving device switching, during a beam training, into a particular reference beam of both the sending device and the receiving device; and the sending device sending a synchronization reference sequence using the particular reference beam, the receiving device receiving the synchronization reference sequence using the particular reference beam, and the receiving device executing timing synchronization and carrier synchronization. By means of the technical solutions provided in the present invention, the sending device and the receiving device achieve, in the beam training period, timing synchronization and carrier synchronization of high accuracy at the same reference (i.e. same physical propagation environment), thus well supporting that channel estimation results at different detection beams in the beam training period still have same reference time delay, same reference phase and negligible frequency offset at receiving and sending terminals, thereby guaranteeing the effectiveness of the beam training.
