The closed-cycle discharge excited pulse repetition-frequency gas laser comprises a main laser body, a pulse discharge pump source, a resonant cavity, the self-cleaning optical window, a gas circulation device, a gas supply unit and a vacuum unit, wherein the self-cleaning optical window comprises an optical window cleaner and a window; the optical window cleaner comprises a baffle box, gas pipes and a gas filter; the gas filter based on the principle of electrostatic precipitation comprises a square outer chamber, a gas inlet, multiple layers of metal nets, an electrostatic precipitation ionization region, an electrostatic precipitation collection region, an ash hopper, a tail-end filter screen, a gas outlet and a high-voltage direct-current power supply.
