This medical power supply system is provided with: a medical device comprising an elongate insertion unit inserted into a patient's body, an end effector provided at the leading end of the insertion unit, and a power receiving unit which has a power receiving member and receives power supplied to the end effector; and a guide tube which, on the base end, has a power transmitting member connected to a power source and which guides insertion of the insertion unit of the medical device from the base end into the patient's body. The power receiving member is positioned radially outside of the insertion unit; when the insertion unit is inserted a prescribed amount into the guide tube and the power transmitting member and the power receiving member become close, the transmission-side base surface of the power transmission member and the power receiving-side leading surface of the power receiving member are opposite of each other in the axial direction of the insertion unit, thus assuming the positional relation that allows wireless power transmission.
