This grease composition contains a lubricant base oil, a thickening agent, an amide compound and at least one of an alpha-hydroxycarboxylic acid metal salt and an omega-hydroxycarboxylic acid metal salt. The total content of the hydroxycarboxylic acid metal salts is 0.1-2% by mass based on the total amount of the grease composition.
