Abstract

The invention discloses a method of inventory deduction and a device thereof. The method includes: distributing a total budget amount of the same item from a database to each memory, receiving a request of carrying out a deduction operation on the item, wherein the request includes an activity identifier of the deduction operation and a deduction amount of the item; determining a memory, on which the deduction operation will be carried out, according to the request; and carrying out deduction on a remaining amount on the memory according to the deduction amount, wherein the remaining amount is an amount after a budget amount of the memory is deducted. Through the method, a budget amount on the database is distributed to each memory and a deduction operation is carried out on each memory, thus concurrently accessing the DB is avoided, and DB fees are reduced.
