Embodiment 1

[0029] 1. Root standard

[0030] Choose crape myrtle with a diameter above 3 cm. Dig the root system in the upper soil layer around the tree pit. The diameter of the root system should be about 0.5cm (0.4-0.6cm). The thicker the root system, the older the tree, the weaker the ability of cell division and differentiation, and it is difficult to take root and survive; the thinner the root system, the younger the tree age, the stronger the ability of cell division and differentiation, but the root system stores too little nutrients, which is not conducive to root survival; diameter Lagerstroemia in around 0.5 cm has higher root cell viability, higher nutrient accumulation, faster rooting and higher survival rate.

[0031] 2. Root treatment

[0032] The root system of crape myrtle can be dug after spring. When digging, the soil around the root system must be dug open before the root system is taken out, and no wounds can be caused on the roots. Cut the roots flat into 8-10cm ...

Abstract

The invention provides a reproduction method for raising seedlings by cutting by the aid of root systems of lagerstroemia indica. The reproduction method includes steps of (1), cutting roots of the lagerstroemia indica into small sections and carrying out soaking treatment on the small sections by the aid of indolebutyric acid or 6-benzyladenine; (2), flatly laying obtained materials treated at the step (1) on media which comprise peat soil and perlite according to a volume ratio of 3:1; (3), keeping appropriate moisture and temperatures, applying fertilizers in due time and discharging and transplanting the nursery seedlings after leaves of the lagerstroemia indica fall and the lagerstroemia indica hibernates or in the spring of a next year. The reproduction method has the advantages thatthe shortcoming of damage on tree crowns due to existing reproduction technologies by hard branch (tender branch) cutting can be overcome by the aid of the reproduction method; the reproduction method is obviously technically progressed in the aspect of cutting processes by the aid of the root systems used as shoot for cutting, and excellent cutting effects can be realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of agriculture, and in particular relates to a method for raising seedlings by root cuttings of crape myrtle. Background technique [0002] Lagerstroemia indica is a deciduous shrub or small tree. It has beautiful tree posture, smooth and clean trunk, and gorgeous flowers and colors. It has the praise of "green in midsummer covers the eyes, and the flowers are full of red". It is a good bonsai material for viewing flowers, stems, and roots. [0003] At present, the common propagation methods of Lagerstroemia indica are hard branch cutting method and soft branch cutting method. The Chinese patent whose authorization notification number is CN104429468 B provides a kind of crape myrtle seedling cutting cultivation method, which utilizes the hard branch cutting method, and it has achieved better rooting rate and survival rate by improving the hard branch cutting method. The Chinese patent with the authorized no...
