Abstract

The invention provides an imaging system comprising an imaging surface, a mirror and a capture device. The imaging surface is configured to place an imaging target thereon. The capture device is configured to capture an image of the imaging target through a path of emitted light extending from the imaging target, reflecting off the mirror, and reaching the capture device. The mirror, the capture device, or both are configured to move in a diagonal direction relative to the imaging surface to shorten the length of the path of the emitted light.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to systems, methods and apparatus for providing high resolution images of objects. Background technique [0002] There is a need for imaging systems and methods that provide high resolution images of objects that do not rely on methods such as digital magnification or the use of zoom lenses. Digital upscaling often results in pixelated images as they are enlarged. It is difficult to use zoom lenses in many situations because it is often difficult to meet various requirements such as focal length, working distance, distortion, field curvature and signal attenuation in a stable manner. [0003] Summary of the invention [0004] The invention discloses an imaging system. The imaging system includes an imaging surface, a mirror and a capture device. The imaging surface is configured to place an imaging target thereon. The capture device is configured to capture an image of the imaging target through a path of emitted lig...
