Abstract

The invention provides a method for preparing a ceramic protective coating on a metal matrix. The method comprises the following steps in sequence: (1) removing an oxide, grease and dust on the surface of the metal matrix; (2) uniformly mixing metal alkoxide with a solvent and adjusting the pH value to 1-4, so as to obtain sol; adding nanoscale alloy powder into the sol and carrying out sufficientstirring, so as to obtain first slurry; and immersing the metal matrix into the first slurry, carrying out dip-coating on the metal matrix, drying the coating in the shade, and repeating the immersing, dip-coating and in-shade drying operation till the thickness of the coating reaches 100-150 micrometers, so as to obtain a transition layer; (3) uniformly mixing phosphoric acid with Al(OH)3 powder, so as to obtain an inorganic binder; adding oxide powder into the inorganic binder and carrying out uniform stirring, so as to prepare second slurry; and coating the transition layer with the secondslurry and carrying out in-shade drying; and (4) putting the metal matrix into a heating furnace, injecting a protective gas, carrying out heating, and then carrying out sintering. The method provided by the invention is low in cost and has no pollution to the environment; and the formed ceramic protective coating is high in binding strength and excellent in comprehensive performance.
