[0064] 26.1 g (0.1 mol) of 2-(3-phenoxyphenyl)propionyl chloride was dissolved in 100 ml of chloroform. The mixture was cooled to 0°C. 15 ml of triethylamine and 8.9 g (0.1 mol) of dimethylaminoethanol were added to the reaction mixture with stirring. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The solvent was evaporated to dryness.
