Problems solved by technology

[0006] In the past, the settings for transcoding were preconfigured before the transcoding started and used until the transcoding was completed. Therefore, it was not only impossible to add other images during the transcoding process, but also it was difficult to remove the added images.
Moreover, the existing code conversion is usually based on the compressed bit stream to realize the switching operation of the input image, so precise switching cannot be performed

Abstract

A transcoder for real-time image synthesis is disclosed. A real-time transcoding method is performed by a computer-implemented server. The server includes a transcoder having a decoder, a mixer, and an encoder, and the method includes performing real-time transcoding of a main image using the transcoder; adding a sub image at a front end of the mixer of the transcoder or removing the added sub image; and mixing or replacing the sub image using the mixer of the transcoder during real-time transcoding of the main image.

Description

Technical field [0001] The following description relates to a real-time transcoding technique. Background technique [0002] Multimedia streaming refers to a service in which video files or image sources stored in a storage server are transmitted to each user terminal (client), and data is received and played at the same time at the user terminal. In recent years, with the development of mobile communications and cloud environments, the importance of this form of service has been widely recognized. [0003] Transcoding refers to the operation of converting multimedia content format (file format) or resolution and clarity. In the streaming service, most of the multimedia files stored in the storage server are high-definition, large-capacity files, and therefore may not be suitable for transmission and playback to mobile terminals. Moreover, when the format of the source content stored on the server is a format that the client cannot support, it also needs to be converted. [0004] ...
