Abstract

A coating device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a travel module for causing a belt-shaped sheet to travel in the longitudinal direction; a coating module for coating ink onto a surface of the traveling belt-shaped sheet; and a supply module for supplying the ink to the coating module. The coating module has a slot-type coating head disposed so as to bridge over the belt-shaped sheet in the sheet width direction, and the slot-type coating head is provided with an ink storage part that widens toward the belt-shaped sheet in a cross-sectional view, and an ink supply path that communicates with the upper section of the ink storage part.
