The method comprises the steps that: an intermediate device receives resource loading requests from multiple client sides; client side identifiers and target resource identifiers of the resource loading requests are determined according to the resource loading requests; resource storage addresses of resources corresponding to the various target resource identifiers on a server are determined; the corresponding relationship is recorded; the corresponding relationship includes the resource storage address corresponding to the same target resource identifier and the client side identifiers of various client sides sending the target resource identifier; the intermediate device inquires whether the various resource storage addresseshave resource updating or not from the server in a timed manner; after updated resources at the resource storage addresses are received from the server, the corresponding relationship is inquired; the various client side identifiers corresponding to the resource storage addresses are determined; and updated resources are sent to the corresponding client sides according to the various inquired client side identifiers.
