The protecting system comprises a power battery pack, a temperature control system and a battery management system; the power battery pack consists of M*N standard single battery modules, and N single battery modules are in parallel connection and connected throughconductor wires. Installation of BMS on each branch circuit and utilization of high-carrying-capacity parallel connectors are both avoided, over-current risk can be eliminated by use of one BMS onlyand low-carrying-capacity parallel connectors, and thus cost is lowered greatly. Besides, connection status of serial mechanical connecting points can be detected so that safety hazard caused by loosening of the serial mechanical connecting points can be avoided; meanwhile, temperature variation of parallel branches can be monitored so that the problem of out of control of current of the parallelbranches, possibly caused among parallel modules, can be solved.
