Abstract

The invention discloses an image recognition method. The method is applied to first equipment and comprises the steps of collecting a target image; preprocessing the target image to obtain a first processing result; sending the first processing result and current location information of the first equipment to second equipment so that the second equipment can obtain a first recognition result basedon the location information and the first processing result, wherein the first recognition result is a recognition result corresponding to the target image; receiving the first recognition result sent by the second equipment. According to the image recognition method, the first processing result obtained after the target image is preprocessed is further recognized by using the current location information to obtain the first recognition result in the target image, the unsatisfactory recognition and low accuracy after the target image is preprocessed are avoided, and therefore the accuracy ofrecognizing characters in the target image is improved.
