Abstract

The invention discloses a driving circuit for driving a display panel, and a liquid crystal display device. The display panel comprises a plurality of pixel units, and the driving circuit comprises apower supply management module, a level conversion module and a reset module, wherein the power supply management module is used for providing a first power supply voltage according to an input voltage, and used for generating a complete reset signal according to the input voltage; the level conversion module is used for generating a state signal and a plurality of grid driving signals according to channel data of a second power supply voltage under control of the complete reset signal; the reset module is used for directly outputting the first power supply voltage into the second power supplyvoltage when the state signal is at a first state, and used for discharging the second power supply voltage into a reference ground voltage to reset the level conversion module when the state signalis at a second level state. The level conversion module can be reset and restarted, and output abnormity caused by the consequence that the level conversion module is locked by an XO function can be avoided. Therefore, normal display of the liquid crystal display device can be ensured when the input voltage is recovered.
