A first device selects at least one piece of identification information from a plurality of pieces of identification information corresponding to VRF on the first device; a second device receives a message, containing the identification information, sent by the first device, and the second device processes the message after it is confirmed that at least one piece of identification information in a plurality of pieces of identification information corresponding to VRF of the second device is within the message; and the first device canset different pieces of identification information into the message when setting the message, the message can be processed as long as the identification information of the second device is within themessage, and the first device can communicate with the corresponding second device by utilizing all identification information on the VRF, so that information transmission flexibility is further improved.
