The system comprises a parking management module, a wireless transmission module and a remote control module; the parking management module is connected with the remote control module through the wireless transmission module; the parking management module comprises an AR camera, a sensor, a controller, afirst AR display, and an indicator light; and the remote control module includes a second AR display, an information storage unit, a processing unit, and an execution unit. According to the AR (Augmented Reality) technology-based parking management system of the invention, the AR display is arranged at the entrance of a parking lot, so that video data captured by the AR camera can be displayed onthe AR display; a driver who just enters the parking lot can see unoccupied parking spaces by means of the AR display, and can judge the positions of the unoccupied parking spaces on the basis of thelocation of the driver, so that the driver can seem to be located in the parking lot through checking the AR display, and therefore, the driver can find a parking space faster.
