Abstract

The invention discloses a mechanical pipe grabbing device comprising a sealing sliding pad connected with an air bracket, a pipe grabbing device base, and a horn mouth. A piston is arranged in the pipe grabbing device base; one end of the piston is connected with the sealing sliding pad and the other end is abutted against the horn mouth. A compression spring is arranged between the piston and thesealing sliding pad; and a spool is in contact with and is clamp with the opening end of the horn mouth. According to the mechanical pipe grabbing device, clamping and grabbing of the spool are realized by movement of the piston. Returning is carried out by using the compression spring and thus the pipe grabbing device puts down the spool; and the movement is stable and reliable, so that aging ofthe rubber airbag is avoided.
