The system comprises a lithium ion battery, an electrolyte suction device, a temperature detecting device and a controller. On the one hand, the lithium ion battery pack thermal runaway processing system provided by the present application is provided with the temperature detecting device on the innerwall of the housing of the lithium ion battery pack so as to monitor the internal temperature of the lithium ion battery pack in real time and to timely detect a thermal runaway phenomenon and execute a solution based on the internal temperature of the lithium ion battery pack after the thermal runaway phenomenon occurs. On the other hand, the housing of the lithium ion battery pack is connectedwith the electrolyte suction device, when the thermal runaway phenomenon occurs inside the lithium ion battery pack, the electrolyte suction device extracts the electrolyte inside the housing lithiumion battery pack to avoid the further the intense reaction of the electrolyte in the lithium ion battery pack, thereby fundamentally cutting off the source of the thermal runaway reaction, and suppressing the development of the thermal runaway reaction from the inside of the lithium ion battery pack.
