The enhanced battery management system includes a host computer interface, an active equalization module, a passive equalization circuit, a master control M-BMS and S-BMS, an internal communication mode selection switch (or components with the similar function), and an active / passive equalization mode selection switch (or components with the similar function), wherein the M-BMS module mainly controls CAN communication of each circuit switch and a charging management switch; the S-BMS is developed based on BQ76PL455A-Q1 for mainly performing management monitoring on each battery parameter; the active / passive equalization mode selection switch is used for selecting a battery equalization mode; and the internal communicationmode selection switch is connected to the master control M-BMS and S-BMS for selecting the internal communication mode.
