Provided are a display system and a control method thereof, a display device and a control method thereof, which control the display of the display device corresponding to an external device. The HMD (100) includes: an image display unit (20) configured to be able to see the outside scene and to display an image superimposed on the outside scene; and a display control unit (122) that causes the image display unit (20) to display an image based on a slave PC (300) ) image of the input data.
