Abstract

The invention relates to a safety belt retractor and safety belt device for motor vehicles. The safety belt retractor comprises a mandrel (1), a bracket (4), a vehicle sensing device (6), a locking mechanism (100), and an inhibiting mechanism (200). The inhibiting mechanism comprises a decelerating mechanism, the decelerating mechanism is provided with an input component (7) and an output component (8), the input component is rotatably connected with the mandrel, and the output component is provided with a working face. The inhibiting mechanism comprises a driven part (10), an inhibiting part(11.1) and a reset spring (11). On a predetermined resting position of the mandrel, the driven part is manipulated by the working face of the output component, and thus the inhibiting part is locatedon the position inhibiting a moving part. In the unwinding direction, after a predetermined rotation stroke of the mandrel, the inhibiting part leaves the position inhibiting the moving part. According to the safety belt retractor, the structure is simple, the number of parts is decreased, and the robustness is high.
