Abstract

The brake system comprises two electromechanical brake pressure generating devices for generating hydraulic brake pressure in at least twowheel brake cylinders, wherein the first brake pressure generating device is designed as a hydraulic system, has a first electric actuator used for operating at least one pump and is configured to achieve dynamic adjustment of the driving of the motor vehicle by a targeted pressure modulation of the individual wheels in the at least two wheel brake cylinders; the second brake pressure generating device is designed as a piston cylinder device and has at least one piston that defines a hydraulic chamber and can be adjusted by operating a second electric actuator to change the volume of the hydraulic chamber.
