Abstract

The invention relates to a formulation of chemical-corrosion resistant polyvinyl chloride rubber strip and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the formulation comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 40%-50% of a polyvinyl chloride resin; 5%-6% of a heat stabilizer; 2%-3% of a lubricant; 30%-40% of a plasticizer; and 10-15% of a filler. The preparation method comprises the following steps: weighting 40%-50% of polyvinyl chloride resin, 5%-6% of the heat stabilizer, 2%-3% of the lubricant and 10%-15% of the filler, mixing together to form a mixture and stirring at high speed to 70 DEG C; adding 30%-40% of the plasticizer into the mixture, stirring at high speed to 145 DEG C and cooling; and extruding the mixture through an extruder and passing it through an extrusion die to form a polyvinyl chloride rubber strip. The polyvinyl chloride rubber strip prepared by the chemical-corrosion resistant polyvinyl chloride rubber strip formula and the manufacturing method has good elasticity, hardness and corrosion resistance, and can be used as a sealing rubber strip of a mold.
