Abstract

The invention discloses a time modulation and demodulation method, and belongs to the technical field of information transmission and processing. The method comprises the following steps of: controlling the position of a baseband signal within symbol duration by using information to be sent during modulation; performing matched filtering and peak searching on the received signal during demodulation to obtain time information carried by the received signal; and finally, deriving the time modulation capacity of single-symbol transmission. A numerical calculation result shows that information is provided in the time dimension, and the method has important significance for improving the capacity of the communication channel at present.
