Abstract

Provided is an SL system generating a depth map dynamically. The system comprises an SL generator, an image capturing device and a processor; the SL generator emits default SL to an object; the imagecapturing device comprises a lens, receives the SL reflected from the lens, and thus, forms an iamge; and the processor processes the image to generate the depth map. The processor moves the lens to aposition corresponding to the depth of field according to distance of the object; or the processor moves the lens to different positions corresponding to individual depths of field to generate corresponding depth maps, and the depth maps are combined into a synthesized depth map.
