Abstract

The present invention provides a bearing outer ring external diameter detection apparatus. The apparatus comprises four positioning wheels that are disposed in a coplanar manner. The four positioningwheels are opposite to each other in pairs, and are commonly connected on a same circumference, wherein one pair is driving wheels and the other pair is driven wheels. The pair of driving wheels is separately installed on a rotary motor and rotates at the same speed and in the same direction. An external diameter dial indicator is disposed in the middle of the pair of driven wheels, and a measuring head of the external diameter dial indicator is also connected to the circumference. A space enclosed by the circumference is used for placing a to-be-detected bearing outer ring. During operation,the bearing outer ring is positioned in the middle of the four positioning wheels, the measuring head abuts an outer peripheral face of the bearing outer ring, and the pair of driving wheels rotate todrive the bearing outer ring to rotate, so that the external diameter dial indicator obtains external diameter detection data of the bearing outer ring.
