Abstract

The invention discloses a dual-polarized microstrip antenna unit suitable for wide-angle and broadband scanning, and belongs to the technical field of antenna engineering. The antenna is composed of alaminated patch layer, a dual-polarization feed layer and a metal bottom plate. The laminated patch layer comprises two layers of PCBs, and metal walls are used as supports. The feed layer comprisesa horizontally-polarized microstrip feed line, a cross-shaped coupling groove in the ground and a vertically-polarized asymmetric strip line feed which are arranged on the three layers of PCBs respectively. Through the metal walls and the metal bottom plate, the mechanical strength and stability of the antenna are improved; an air cavity supported by the metal walls increases the bandwidth of theantenna, avoids the use of a low-dielectric-constant PCB, and reduces the number of layers of the PCBs, thereby reducing alignment error in the assembly process and reducing the cost; and the feed layer avoids blind holes, thereby reducing processing difficulty, and reducing processing cost.
