The composite foundation applicable to the up soil and down rock stratum structure comprises a bearing platform, steel pipe piles, anchor cables and grouting bodies. The bearing platform is arranged in a soil layer. Anchorage devices are arranged on the bearing platform. The grouting bodies are poured in a rock layer. The upper ends of the steel pipe piles are fixedly connected with the bearing platform. The lower ends of the steel pipe piles extend into the corresponding grouting bodies. Each anchor cable comprises an anchoring section and a free section. The anchoring sections are fixedly arranged in the corresponding grouting bodies.
