The invention discloses an adjusting method and system for guaranteeing the delay sensitive program service quality, and the method comprises the steps: resource collection: collecting the resource occupancy rate of each to-be-executed program, wherein the to-be-executed program comprises a delay sensitive program and a plurality of batch programs; assuming that a delay sensitive program and a plurality of batch programs are executed on each server node; allocating running resources to the delay sensitive program and the batch programs; monitoring the performance of the delay sensitive programin the running process in real time; and comparing the performance of the delay sensitive program in the running process with a set threshold value, and adjusting the core running frequency and the core number for the delay sensitive program to ensure the service quality of the delay sensitive program. The method can ensure the performance requirement when the delay sensitive program and the batch programs are executed together, and meanwhile, the resource utilization rate of the system is improved as much as possible.
