Abstract

An actuation system (10) for a valve (20) has an outer housing (11). A receiving area (12) for receiving a switching spindle (21) of the valve (20) runs in the outer housing (11). At least one inductive sensor runs parallel to said receiving area (12). The actuation system further has at least one generally cylindrical position encoder (40) of electrically conductive material with a channel (43) running along its longitudinal axis.
