The invention further discloses a preparation method of the modified flame-retardant PP particles for the household appliance shell. When the high-flame-retardant composite filleris combusted, water vapor and metal oxide can be released; the water vapor can reduce the concentration of the comburent in the later period, the metal oxide has excellent heat resistance and coats the surface of the comburent to further enhance the flame retardance, so that the prepared composite filler has excellent flame retardance, and the PP particles can be endowed with excellent flame retardance.
