Abstract

Methods and systems are provided that support the transmission of transport blocks on carrier beams and bandwidth part (BWP) beams. These carrier bundles and BWP bundles include physical resources from multiple carriers, which are an appropriate subset of carriers configured for the user equipment (UE). The base station sends an indication to the UE identifying one or more carrier bundles and / or BWP bundles. Each carrier bundle and BWP bundle supports transmission of a corresponding transport block for a given duration and is associated with a corresponding Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) entity.
