Abstract

The invention relates to a high-current connector, comprising: at least one high-current element having at least one pin, the high-current element having a head region and a pin bottom side opposite the head region; a circuit board which is provided with a top side and a bottom side opposite to the top side, and is provided with a hole for accommodating at least one pin. The pin has a circular cross section having a predetermined pin diameter and a predetermined pin length. After at least one pin is introduced into the corresponding hole, there is a distance from the bottom side of the pin to the bottom side of the circuit board, and the hole diameter of the circuit board is at most 0.1 mm larger than the pin diameter. The invention further relates to a method for producing a high-current connector.
