Abstract

The present specification relates to a hand held power tool (1) comprising a housing (10) in which a motor coupled to an outgoing axle defining an axial direction is arranged, a front gear unit (20) at a front end thereof, a first handle portion (30) and a second supporting handle structure (40) arranged at the front end of the housing and extending in a direction parallel to the axial direction in order to allow a user to support the tool at the front gear, a first switch (31) and a second switch (41) configured to control a supply of energy to the motor. The hand held power tool is operative to require the user of the power tool to simultaneously operate the first switch and the second switch in order for energy to be supplied to the motor, and the second switch is arranged at the second supporting handle structure.
