Abstract

The invention discloses a data forwarding method and device of a 5G user plane function entity and electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps of: encapsulating a data packet to be sent based on a universal routing encapsulation protocol to obtain a target data packet; and forwarding the target data packet to the target network from the 5G user plane functional entity, wherein the target data packet is de-encapsulated in the target network based on a universal routing encapsulation protocol. By applying the universal routing encapsulation protocol between a user and the target network in the 5G network, the transmission of user data can be hidden to a certain extent, meanwhile, the intercommunication cost between different private networks can be reduced to the maximum extent, an additional entity network does not need to be constructed, thus the data transmission risk between the internal user and the external user of the 5G network is reduced, communication and interaction of special data among multiple users can be realized in the 5G user plane function entity and the target network, and the transmission efficiency among the users is improved.
